Donations are fully tax-deductible. To enable this we are set up as a sub-fund of Australian Communities Foundation (ACF), so donations are made through their secure donations portal.

• A minimum of $1,000 allows for membership with voting rights. We ask that you consider donating $1,100 to help with our minimal admin costs.
• If you are under 30 years of age, you are eligible for our special New Gen Membership of $500 (please include your age in the ‘Comments’ box when you join.
• You can select ‘Other’ for multiple memberships (please let us know the names in the ‘Comments’ box), or for additional donations.
• Donations of $2 or above are fully tax deductible and gratefully accepted. However, to be a member with voting rights, the minimum donation is $1,000.
• Tick the ‘Corporate’ box if you wish to make the donation under a business name.
• In the ‘Comments’ box, please feel free to give any extra details, such as how you heard about IMPACT100 Sydney North or who else is included in the donation.
• If you pay by Credit Card, you should immediately receive an email from Australian Communities Foundation which includes a link to your tax receipt.
• If you choose Direct Deposit you will receive the tax receipt once the payment has been processed by the banks (after approx 7 working days).
• In due course, your details will be passed on to IMPACT100 Sydney North so we can properly welcome you. This can take at least a week, so if convenient, please drop us a quick email to let us know you’ve joined, info@impact100sydneynorth.org

Some people prefer to join IMPACT100 Sydney North through their Private Ancillary Fund (PAF) or Family Foundation, rather via an individual tax deductible donation. This is not a problem and much appreciated, however current tax rulings require the PAF membership donation to go directly to a charity.

PAFs are Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) Item 2 entities. Australian Communities Foundation (ACF), of which IMPACT100 Sydney North is a sub-fund, is also a DGR Item 2 entity. Item 2 organisations are grant making entities that only collect and distribute funds and are not entitled to give to each other. To overcome this, your generous PAF donation needs to go directly to a DGR1 non-profit organisation that actively undertakes charitable and other programs. IMPACT100 Sydney North only accepts grant applicants from charities with DGR1 status.

A minimum pledge of $1,000 entitles you to membership of IMPACT100 Sydney North, including one vote at our Annual Grants Celebration to select the recipient of our $100,000 Primary Grant (s). In consultation with you, your PAF donation will go to an IMPACT100 Sydney North finalist and the receipt will be issued directly to your PAF by the receiving organisation.
